christmas 2009

What an amazing day! We had a beautiful, cold white christmas. Claire got the idea VERY quickly-she was our present elf and passed out all the gifts under the tree. She loved her art easel, and had a masterpiece drawn before mommy and Damian even got out of bed! She also figured out quickly that her new sit and spin made a perfect stool to sit at while she drew-she constantly amazes us at how clever she is!She loved unwrapping her presents and also unwrapped Damians and showed him his. ;o) Grandma and Grandpa spent all day with us, Darren made a pancake breakfast, and we all got great presents from family and Santa!

Damians two months dr visit told us what we already knew-he's a big boy! He was 13.1 lbs-2 lbs more than Claire weighed at the same age! For bo ys it puts him at the 75%. He's 22 1/4 in long-only 25%-so he's short and chubby! ;o)
Claire is amazing-coming up with games and jokes, she loves cracking everyone up. She is slowly working on potty training (physically she does great, but shes not overly interested yet. SHe helps tons with her little brother and is great at getting things for him. And she loves putting things away! We'll see how long this lasts...

Well, tried to upload a video, but guess it was too big. After 7 hours we gave up! Will try other tactics but in the meantime, more pictures! Damian is getting more and more interactive, hitting his rattles and really checking everything out. Claire is a little over him right now, she tried to sit on him in his bouncer the other day! They both still have colds, but seem to be slowly getting better-which we can't wait for so Damian can sleep better! (and us too!)
