Yellowstone trip edition one...

What an amazing and topsy turvey trip to the cabin with a toddler, baby, four grandparents, teenage cousin Syd (Claires new "best friend") and a TON of unneccesary stuff! ;o) DeLaup grands first trip to Yellowstone, beautiful weather, kids mostly great except when tired or when Claire needed to go to bed! Saw incredible wildlife, of course, GRIZZLY BEARS!!!! and so much more...what a first family vacation~

DeLaup Grandparents visit!

Kids were super excited to see their LA grandparents-Claire launched right into entertainment mode and even Damian watched intently for a few minutes, then reached out for his Maw

Maw-I think it was love at first site all around! And of course the Delaups had to join the Basement Band...Fathers day ended with a trip to Casa Bonita=the disneyworld of Mexican resteraunts...kids went nuts!

Dress up and play times galore, first overnights in a hotel (eek-very little sleep had by all) first wedding-Claire and Damian were the dancing king and queen-SO popular! (Claire got to dance with a "princess"-very exciting!

Darrens birthday, swimming and more

Darren turned 38 this month-eek! but Claire loves a party and the "party favors" and there was much singing-where does she pick all this stuff up???? And she is still wearing her "party hat" to help Daddy celebrate! Grandpa's back from Vegas and the kids are thrilled-Claire is super into Grandpa and Damian loves to pet his beard-go figure. Lots of fun this month with the grandparents and Darren is finally out for the summer and looking forward to lotsa kiddo time! Claire is officially "the boss", the house resounds with "sit here" "go to sleep" "don't touch that" and so much more...while our sweet Damian hangs out and smiles!

Happiest Mothers day with the two BEST KIDS!

Damians first hike went great! He loved it and even napped a little...;o) Claire wanted to pet the mule deer we saw and she loved touching everything-our little explorer! More fun in the backyard and more heart melting smiles from Damian-7 months old now! He finally rolled over for Daddy! Claire is a butterfly today...

Never a dull moment!

Nice weather has us outside pretty much every day, Claire is working hard at her yardwork and trying to find insects to vacuum! We also were apparently needing many piles of rocks throughout the yard, her bug viewer happens to be the perfect rock carrying "purse". Damian is still experimenting with solid food and trying out holding things with his new tooth. ;o) We are seeing more interactive playing-so fun! Damian loves attention frmo his big sis and she enjoys his adoration!
